Freelance Game Engine Programmer
I mainly focus on making custom in-house engines run well on consoles. This typically involves performance work, lots of low level graphics programming and building compilers.
Previously I've been the main console programmer on Atlas Fallen (credits at Mobygames) and the sole console programmer for CrossCode (credits at Mobygames, talk about the tech).
I'm currently helping with Enshrouded among other things.
You can also profit from some of my work for free as some of it ends up at GitHub. Maybe you did even profit from it accidentally as I helped getting SPIRV-Cross off the ground (I contributed the HLSL backend and the Metal backend also has some roots in earlier work of mine) which is now used all over the place (in Unreal Engine and CryEngine for example).
Before the virus I also used to give talks and lectures. I launched the Game Technology lectures at TU Darmstadt which I then taught with Dr. Florian Mehm and Dr. Polona Caserman. Now I try to remember how I did that.
